there she goes

when i was asked what do i want for this year's birthday, i was sincerely clueless. how can i ask him for a present when i still owe him one for last year's. and then i've got the ultimate loafer for anniversary and accidentally lost one of the pair in a such freaking way within a month. i also couldn't make up my mind on what i want. ok, i want bottega veneta's nappa and i don't want to splurge myself to an impulsive buying which will make me regret after that. even i've had burberry's lace clutch in my hands, twice in jpo, i'm very proud of myself for having the ability to put a stop at this craziness. bravo hasniza, bravo!!

but actually, what more could i ask when i have o.h, aaqilah, natalia and now sufi in my life. it's a blessing when my parents and in laws are still around, in good healths and my siblings are all doing quite well. john and paul, you were totally right that money can't buy me love.

 we have a new addition to the family, baby sufi asfi kaleela.

 

One of the most well-known landmarks of Berlin, this is a former city gate or it's famously known as Branderburger Tor.

I'd really like to close Berlin's stories here and now to proceed with other unrelated entries. I thought this is a like a perfect ending, but you're welcomed to browse other photos at my flickr page. The passion towards photography is still burning =) as i recently found a new journey with smart phone.

what i remembered most about this city gate? well, obviously during the 2006 world cup in germany, branderburger tor was a major highlight. bbc put it as their main stage during the coverage and we were amazed at its grandeur display especially during night. one of the world cup editions in which we managed to watch almost all the games, even when i was in hospital due to labour. how can i forget when italy emerged as the eventual winner.

btw, this is the closest shot i managed to get. unlucky for us, there's an ongoing berlin marathon on the day we went to see branderburger tor.

the power of blogging

an event which held at kementerian perumahan dan kerajaan tempatan, putrajaya was such a simple one. mainly i attended to support my good friend's event (she's the chairperson), but the event itself was successful, personally i thought.

the 2 invited speakers are en shahabudeen jalil, a wholesale business consultant and pn suraya of lunatots ( i am more familiar with her when i heard of lunatots). maybe it's because i myself a working mom so i strongly felt that the latter is much more relatable. Her spirits and motivations in running her business and managing her kids impress me a lot. whenever i heard or read about moms who work really hard for the best of their kids, i kinda feel a pang inside. shame on you, hasniza =|

useful and helpful, particularly to bloggers in the making and beginners. like myself, it's more on the knowledge sharing and an exposure to cupsters. a good one i hope ;)

I was off on my birthday, so we have decided to spend a few days away. cherating, here we come..

tak pernah lagi pergi cherating, walaupun hampir tiap tahun lalu dalam perjalanan nak ke terengganu tu. aku pernah spent night kat awana kijal waktu budak2 dulu, mestilah lain experience dengan family nukleus pulak. rasa macam awana kijal tu macam jauh despite the fact that it's only 30++ km ahead of cherating. mungkin sebab satu dalam pahang, satu lagi dah masuk terengganu..

yang tak berapa best, aku sakit kepala dan mild cramp. ish ish..

budak 2 orang ni pengsan di malam hari, siangnya dah sakan main pasir dan too many beach actions hehehe

This entry is so outdated, actually attended the workshop in February or March. oh aku sendiri tak ingat. dapat sms jemputan, konfirmkan kedatangan dan venuenya - the apartment. wah terasa ekslusif untuk hari yang ekslusif. by the way, it FOC hehehe

Macam tak percaya yang Cupsters yang baru nak belajar all about bisness ni, was given an opportunity at the carnival. yes friends, kiterang akan berada di sana sebagai salah seorang peserta, dan akan mempamerkan produk daripada cupsters, such as chocolate cakes, cupcakes, cookies dan juga cokelat. beberapa hari ni memang hectic dengan planning, shopping barang-barang, designing and printing.. arrghh crazy!

Ada tak aku cerita pasal the other Cupsters?

since dah ada 2 kena manage ni membuatkan aku bertambah kalut ada sikit pening. Oklah, mula-mula aku nak kasi less pening ialah update 1 dan copy paste saja, senang je kan. tapi aku mula rasa sekarang aku dah ada 2 exactly copies of the same thing, is it good or plain stupid?

working around wordpress ada satu perkataan, impressive. senang digunakan thanks to my background and blogging experience. themes yang super cool dan banyak sampai saya rambang mata untuk memilih. tapi untuk orang yang baru nak belajar, it can be quite tricky, particularly when it comes to posts and pages. aku sendiri pon tengah memasterkan diri lagi untuk menjadi wordpress super guru. banyak lagi plugins yang aku nak tau dan sepatutnya tau. we'll come to that one by one.

during my presentation, ada satu komen yang aku sangat ingat regarding cupsters - we are the monsters ni. kata mereka, monsters bole membuatkan parents menjadi resah when it comes to children. oklah, kata aku, konsep monster ni macam monsters yang makan semua benda, cupsters pun ada semua. cupsters adalah monsters yang comel, tidak menakutkan sama sekali. unexpectedly, the monsters wording seems to get stucked in people's mind. bila aku cakap cupsters, respond orang ialah aaa monster cupcakes nih. catchy tak hehe

tapi disebabkan aku dah lama sangat tak bercakap depan public, memang presentation aku cam haram sikit. yang tolong selamatkan maybe gambar cupcakes =J

Cupsters monsters - not monstrous at all

many apologizes for my late entry on the busy weekend.

friday i was in bangi for 1nita bengkel. last minit punya persetujuan untuk pergi, jadi aku worked around bengkel punya jadual yang mengisi jadual aku yang sedia padat ini kononnya. yelah petang jumaat tu aku ada interview plak kat cyberjaya. tapi sebab habis awal dengan baik hatinya aku patah balik ke bangi dan habiskan sesi syarahan untuk hari jumaat. awal-awal lagi aku dah cakap, sabtu saya takde, adik saya konvo.

hari sabtu kiterang ke shah alam untuk konvo aja. lawa tak aku bergaya dengan baju kurung moden yang akhirnya tak dapat masuk dewan seri budiman tu pon. kalaulah aku bijak sikit, selamba je aku dah pakai pants. siap ada heels lagi ye. takperla aja punya pasal saya sanggup bergaya cantik-cantik hehe. maklang dan pijah pun cantik, memang sesuai untuk majlis rasmi. sayangnya bila petang, hujan turun sangat lebat siap dengan angin kencang, jadi tak dapatlah nak bergambar di bawah sinaran matahari. kalau tak aku rasa lagi cantik dapat gambar outdoor yang terang dan sangat kontras. untuk meraikan kejayaan aja dan kawannya, kiterang celebrate makan bes sket. sayang gak korum tak cukup, tapi sapa yang ada itu pun tetap bermakna.

ahad aku sambung dengan bengkel 1nita. bengkel ni untuk usahawan dan bakal usahawan memanfaatkan online shops, as we were given brief trainings on web development using wordpress. sempatlah aku present cupsters kat dalam kelas, dan balik dengan sekeping certificate. oh ya bengkel 1nita ni free, kepada sesapa yang berminat silalah menghadirkan diri ke u.k.m bangi jumaat ni untuk another bengkel sebelum mereka-mereka ini ke terengganu pulak. for more information read here

Oklah, entri ni macam iklan pulak.

rasa macam lama je entri takde gambar. apalagi aku takde kamera, sedih pulak rasanya. seriously, gambar yang datang dari aku mostly from iphone atau nikon compact kamera belongs to adik aku. sob sob.. kiterang memang macam takde semangat. nevertheless, passion aku terhadap foodtography or sebenanya food photography tetap ada. especially bila browse blogs dengan gambar yang super canteks, rasa bersemangat gitu.. terus rasa nak pergi beli hahaha (tapi duit tade)

sabtu yang lepas, alhamdulillah kenduri doa selamat/aqiqah dapat dilaksanakan dalam suasana yang kecil dan meriah. terima kasih pada kawan-kawan yang sudi drive sampai nun semenyih di sana. dan tak lupa juga saguhati untuk natalia, on behalf of natalia aku nak ucapkan many thanks for that. menu yang ala-ala kampung dan semuanya bukan dimasak sendiri hihi. ops, chocolate cake adalah sponsor dari cupsters of course.

alhamdulillah, natalia's part is going to kemboja or internationally known as cambodia (oh many thanks to ms anonymous hehe)

there's a kenduri during aaqilah, so a suggestion from family to send natalia's aqiqah to kemboja. it's for a good cause of course, as i've been told that it's such a privilege and a luxurious treat for the poor muslims there to have meats once in a while. yang penting, bahagian aqiqah akhirnya dapat dilaksanakan =)

so friends, you are cordially invited to the kenduri doa selamat/aqiqah at my parents house in semenyih on 30th october 2010 (this coming saturday) from 12 pm onwards. the kenduri aqiqah is actually for baby zara, my brother's newborn daughter and natalia too. not forgetting the doa selamat for my mom and family's brighter future, insyaAllah..
